How To Measure Window Screens

 

DIRECTIONS FOR MEASURING WINDOW SCREENS

  1. Find a screen from a window that fits properly without gaps or spaces. 
  2. Measure the Width and the Height of the Aluminum Screen Frame from OUTSIDE TO OUTSIDE including the frame.
  3. Measure the thickness of the screen frame.
    It will be one of the following:  5/16", 3/8" or 7/16" Box Frame
    This measurement is very important - make sure it is checked carefully.
  4. Choose the color of the screen frame Mill (aluminum color), White, or Bronze (dark brown), Black, and Almond (Tan).
  5. Use a quality steel carpenters tape measure not a fabric cloth measuring tape.
